Meythet, August 31st, 2010 - The home of Sébastien Loeb, the Alsace region has witnessed the rise of another world champion: Yvan Muller. Whether it's karting, single-seaters, rally, sedans, or ice-racing, it is safe to say that he is one of the most acclaimed and talented drivers in the touring car scene.

For this years Rally Of France, Chevrolet will give the 2008 WTCC World Champion the opportunity of a day out on the WRC circuit. With Gilles Mondésir as his co-pilot, the Chevrolet driver will present himself with a new challenge, off of the beaten track.

In 2009, Petter Solberg joined Yvan Muller during one of his test sessions. This year, it's in Rally that the two World Champions will reunite, with Yvan piloting Solberg's latest car.

"If circuit racing has become my speciality, I believe it is important to welcome new experiences. It's a definite plus. Rallying at this level has always been something I would have liked to do, and today I'm very proud to see the Rally Of France project become a reality. It's also a great chance to re-discover the roads around my own home!" says Yvan Muller.
